[recto] Sequentiary, noted, including sequences for the feasts of Holy Innocents (28 Dcember), Epiphany (6 January), Purification of Mary (2 February), Easter, 2nd day of Easter, Assumption of Mary (15 August), Nativity of Mary (8 September), St. Michael (29 September), All Saints (1 November), St. Martin (13 November) and St. Andrew (30 November). Written in early Gothic script in brown ink. 28 lines, ruled in blind. Early German neums in campo aperto with some heighting written above the text in red and brown ink. In this small 'libellus', it is possible that all the sequences were notated in the same manner, each syllable receiving one note and heighting shown in the neumatic notation. [ョ verso] |
