2007/Feb./07 Announcement on paper submission
(1) "Paper for the Proceedings Due" is 2007-03-01
(2) "Camera-ready Paper for the Proceedings Due" is 2007-03-30.

After receiving your paper via the NTCIR-6 START system. the task organizers
will check it. And, we will send an e-mail to each participants. After
you receive the e-mail, please send 3 copies of hard copy version of the
paper (via postal mail) to the address described at http://research.nii.ac.jp/ntcir/add-en.html by 2007-03-30.
* It should be noted that you do NOT have to send hard copy version of your paper by 2007-03-01. It is enough that electronic version will reach to us by 2007-03-01 via the NTCIR-6 START system.

Relevance assessment has been completed. The participants submitting search
results at STAGE1 can download your evaluation results for STAGE1 from
eval.html on your directory at the NII server (URL, userID and password have been
2006/Sep./11 Submission guideline for STAGE2 becomes available.
2006/Aug./17 Additional Announcement: On abnormal records in CIRB010, CIRB020 and Yomiuri(98-99).
In NTCIR-4 workshop, we found abnormal records (having no <TEXT>
content) in CIRB010, CIRB020 and Yimiuri(98-99). For Stage 2 in NTCIR-6
CLIR task, the participants again should treat these records carefully.

2006/Aug./05 Manual for Stage 2 is available and the deadline of submission for Stage
2 is extended.

2006/July/31 Annoucement: Error is detected in our Format Checker
It is regretted that an error is detected in our format checker for files
of search results.
If your search runs are on Chinese 2000-01 doc sets, please re-download the format checker program from our web site
(the procedure is the same as before).
2006/July/15 Submission guideline becomes available.
2006/July/13 Annoucement: Please stop using the Korean topic file that
the organizers released on July 1st. (We find numbering errors in the file)

Format checker for files of search results is now available on the download
page for topics.
2006/July/06 Announcement: Errors in Chinese topic files
We find erros in our Chinese topic files.
(1)The PDF file does not contain embedded Chinese font data.
(2) <REL> filed in the 026 topic is broken in the .txt file (also in the .pdf file).
The organizers modify these Chinese file and put them on the download page.
Please download them, i.e.,
CLIRFormalRunTopic-CH.txt and CLIRFormalRunTopic-CH.pdf,
again. We are so sorry for your inconvenient.

Document release has started. If NTCIR office receives your agreement form,
information for downloading document data (user ID and so on) will be sent
to you by e-mail.
